First let me start off by saying ” I LOVE ORIGINS”. Hands down it is my favourite brand. I love the smell of the products, the packaging, and the way it makes my skin feel. Also its the only Anti Ageing brand of skin care that I can use without getting breakouts. Its the only product, I would spend money on and I definately feel like it makes a difference. My skin glows with health when I use it, unlike any other brand of cometics I have ever used.
Recently, my eyes have started to feel really heavy and my dark circles have been REALLY noticeable. I have become really concerned with the appearance of my eyes and feel they are ageing. I had a sample of the Plantscription anti ageing eye treament in my bedside drawer, but had never used it consistently. I kept waking up with really dry heavy under eyes, so I decided to give it a try. The most noticeable difference was I woke up without that heaviness and my eyes felt much fresher. I have been using it for about a week now and my dark circles have considerably improved and my eyes continue to feel fresh in the morning. I think its too soon to comment on fine lines, but the way my eyes feel compared to how they did, makes me confident to say that this cream works and I bought a pot of it the other day. However watch this space as I feel there is more to come.
I am toying with the idea of quitting Retin A. I have been using it for around 2 months. I started on the 0.025% and moved up to 0.05%. I never had any peeling, irritation or redness and I can use it every day. The only side effect is my pores seem more open. I am getting married in November, so have been getting my makeup done in various cosmetic counters ]and 3 or 4 times now people have commented that “since I have open pores”, I need a specific foundation/moisturiser etc. My skin was near perfect when I started using it. Now I have cystic acne on my chin as well as spots on my cheeks. I also feel like my wrinkles are worse…How much longer will I have to go on like this and will it actually be worth it in the end. Watch this space….
I started this blog because there is so much information and misinformation out there and I want to differentiate the facts from the fiction, the myths from the truth and see if some of this “Stuff” really works… or is it all just clever marketing/advertising..
I am really interested in makeup and beauty, health and fitness. So to start I am going to review or test out products to see if they really do what it says on the tin. My first foray into blogging and I hope its useful, informative, funny, witty and entertaining and if nothing else will stop me from posting silly comments on facebook!!!
